Have not been up to posting in the past few days; have been too distraught over what has been happening in Bali. We managed to breathe a sigh of relief on Sunday night, when my dad confirmed that both my sisters where well and doing ok. Thank God for a foot infection that kept them out of the area, and thanks to the stubbornness that is my eldest-youngest sister. I have no words to describe my gratitude at her determination in ensuring that my youngest sister go see a doctor after having watched her hobble about for a few days. They are both still in the area and are hoping to leave as soon as possible, either continuing on their trip to Singapore, heading over to Hong Kong or heading back home to England. Words alone cannot express my gratitude to all the powers that be that they are safe and sound.
I will be back in a few days, am taking the next couple off to regroup and keep in touch with my family.
