Well, because Munin is cut off, I shall post this little thing that I found wonderful.
I must preface this with my enjoyment of simple pleasures and try not to consider the consequences for those who believe that comment about small minds...
I was just looking at Neil Gaiman's site redesign and enjoying the appearance of his desk, it is just wonderful to see it and see him working there in such a comfortable environment. An environment which I am familiar with by comparison to my own computer work area... What is it about desks, tables, night stands, and other horizontally open areas that draw piles of whatever have you? And are they more conducive to whatever it is that you do with those spaces?
I think the only place where it really would be a drawback is the kitchen, nothing more annoying than trying to work in the kitchen with no counter space available.
