Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and cauldron bubble[macbeth]
I should never be trusted to boil water/coffee, well pretty much anything liquid, on a stove. Thrice in two days have I tried, and thrice have I completely forgotten about the pot left on the stove. [wry shaking of head] You would figure that with the adventures we've already had with the fire alarm that I would pay attention to foodstuff left on the stove, but nay this would seem to be the case. I require a device, some sort of buzzer that will violently beep when the pot is a boil. Maybe that would shock me out of dreamland and remind me that there is indeed a pot on the stove, merrily bubbling away, simmering down my coffee into a sludge like substance.
