Well, they have done something now to once again get the ADSL community upset with them, not an unusual occurance I must say. But now they are imposing a bandwidth cap of 5Gb up or down and are charging for anything over. In such a day and age that seems to be moving backwards. In the era of the internet for a broadband service it seems to be like giving a baby candy and slapping the baby whenever they take too many licks.
I think this is the one that breaks the camel's back though. I found some of the other things they did to be annoying, but not destructive, this time it is. Time to look elsewhere, sure the other companies have to use the Bell system in order to provide their DSL, but it doesn't mean they will be quite as foolish about how they do it.
There are few situations I have seen personally that seem intentionally designed to drive a client base away, this is one of them.
