MONDAY MISSION
Sneaks in and post the Monday mission, hoping no one notices it is indeed Wednesday.
1. When was the last time you pampered yourself?
Last week when I went to get my hair cut. Though I am hoping to treat myself to a full body massage one day very soon. That would be heaven.
2. When was the last time someone pampered you?
Last night, Hugin gave me a much-needed massage with scented oils. [content sigh] Very delish!
3. Describe the last time you recall really feeling loved (other than from children or pets).
Daily, by a person who is my best friend who makes me smile, laugh, who has been there through some really tough times and makes my world a much happier place. [Thank you love.] By wonderful friends, who make me feel loved. [Yes Oz Boy you are definitely one of 'em]
4. Has your use of the computer ever caused any arguments? What's the story there?
Luckily no, we both spend a fair amount of time on our computers playing games [together or apart], surfing the web, writing and occasionally coding. Though I sometimes do feel guilty about how much time I spend reading online, just feels like that time could be spent doing something else, perhaps seeking adventure.
5. What's the most embarrassing thing your Mom ever did?
My mom has a wonderful ability of making me feel shy wherever we go. She is an amazing gregarious person who loves to be the center of attention, which makes me want to hide on occasion. Though the time she tried to get a guy to give her the shirt of his back because her daughter [that being me] liked it was bashful making, especially at the age of sixteen when the guy is cute.
6. I've met some adults who've never learned to swim, and others who never learned how to ride a bike.. Is there anything that you never learned as a child that you probably should have?
I want to say ride a horse, but I don't think that falls under something I should have learnt when I was a kid. I was pretty lucky and got to do a lot of stuff when I was young, swimming, riding bikes, traveling. I also believe that you are never too old to learn something new.
7. I have no idea who said it (and I spent all of two minutes trying to research it), but "someone" once said, a picture is worth a thousand words. Post an image that says more than words. Or instead, describe a picture you recall which touched your heart.
There are many pictures that have touched my heart at one point or another, ranging from pictures taken during great tragedies, to pictures taken at weddings, at births and of nature. I don't think I could choose one image among the many that have affected me. [Maybe one day I will post some of them] Suffice it to say that images capturing human/animal emotion or human nature have always managed to touch my heart and occasionally have caused me to cry.
BONUS: What's love got to do with it?
Who needs a heart when a heart can be broken? The wonderful Tina Turner.
Everything darling, love is everything!
