Din-ah?!?
We picked up a breeder trap/fry maturation tank yesterday and managed to transfer the three little fry from the pint glass they were in, to their new home without any problems. They seem to be doing okay swimming about in their transparent box. The other platy have been circling their tank, and I am not sure if it out of curiosity or if they are expecting dinner to be served. I am hoping it is the former, though considering only three out of the possible forty -eighty survived it is probably the later. We are still a little shocked at the prospect of having baby fish, and Hugin will occasionally peer into the tank in search of the culprits, those who conceived, those who frolicked and those who should have left the little fry alone! Though I am not quite sure if a 20 gallon tank could have supported all those fish. [little smile] Which would be a wonderful reason for picking up another aquarium.[innocent look, batts eyelashes at Hugin] Perhaps a 30 gallon one?
