It always amazes me how some days my brain turns to jelly and no coherent thoughts will make themselves known in the recesses of my mind. Thinking becomes a task and it feels as if my mind is trying to pull itself out from a pool of quicksand. Woke up too early this morning after having gone to sleep later then I had intended. The culprit of the late night Heroes 4, I had been all set to go to bed at 10:30 after a nice cup of tea and having curled up on the couch to read a book. I had come back in to the office to kiss Hugin goodnight, and check something online. Hugin was playing a game a, my brain won't co-operate and let me remember which one it was right now, though I believe it was Heroes, so I plopped down on the chair to watch a bit which led to me to playing. [sigh] A couple of hours later I had been defeated, recaptured my town and it was much later then I had intended upon going to bed. The morning started with the jarring whine of the alarm, no coffee and a meeting that I would have been better off not attending. I dislike being in meetings that take hours to get to a point, especially when I have not had any coffee. I feel bad for the person who had to sit next to me though; I think my grumpy uncaffeinated demeanor might have frightened her a bit.
