On another note.
I have always found western society to be tragic. The way we spend our lives working at jobs which in the big picture mean absolutely nothing. The things we accumulate, the rat race, the great waste of time that eats away at each of our allotments of time. We are unique, each of us. And we are unique, so far as we know, in this universe. And what do we do with our time? We spend it sitting at desks, or similar... what is the point of that? A life is given to us, and because of the structure of society, that life is taken away from us and parole is only given when we are past our prime.
Each of us should have the opportunity to do and see, to experience. There is a world out there for us to be a part of, and we should be able to do that. Climb mountains, swim oceans, touch the world.
And there is a world inside each of us as well, a world that exceeds the external. Imagination, thought, feelings, consciousness above all. Self-realization that makes the world what it is to each of us. The realization that we exist and the wonder to make use of that existance.
Anything less, anything that detracts from that is a tragedy and to be avoided at all costs.
We are here to live life, not have it lived for us.
We are here to gather experiences, not to accrue them for a resume.
I hope to get the chance.
As an addendum, I have found the love of my life and that counts for something beyond words.
Omg thats right! Please come see me and my friends! ;)
