Fishy Heaven
We lost a neon tetra today; I came home to find him all pale and caught in the filter's suction tube. [sad heartbroken look] I was worried about him this morning, he was not he's bright usual self and was not swimming with the others just bobbing along the bottom looking a little bloated and not interested in food or anything else. I thought that he may have overfed the night before [I think he ate] and was just not up to eating. I hope it is not something in the water or some contagious disease that brought on his untimely demise, we had only had him for about 3 weeks. The rest of the tetras look to be all right they are swimming about non-chalantly and the platys all seem to be doing fine. [Though some of the females are hiding in the leaves.] I am not quiet sure as to all the sign and symptoms of diseases in tetras; I hope this is going to be our only fishy loss for a long while.
