Books. [There, take that for a title if you really want to, but it wasn't my idea.]
So I'm doing that rereading thing again. I do it relatively often, find some new books by new or old authors and after I finish them I am left with the old favourites. So, I grabbed my copy of Dragon by Steven Brust, nice easy enjoyable read. I want to read the Chronicles of Amber again, but they are in hardcover and so hard to carry around in my jacket pocket. It's the same list over and over again:
Roger Zelazny - Chronicles of Amber [[Munin - Back off they are mine, all mine!!!]]
Steven Brust - Vlad Taltos series and the Phoenix Guards (a favourite) series
Neil Gaiman - Sandman (never leave the house with those!), Neverwhere and American Gods
Tom Clancy - only the older ones and Without Remorse
Iain Banks - Sci-Fi only, preferring Player of Games, Excession and other Culture novels
Steven Erickson - now in the list with Gardens of the Moon and Deadhouse Gates
Terry Goodkind - Sword of Truth series
Terry Pratchett - Discworld and most of Good Omens with Neil Gaiman (or should that be listed in Neil Gaiman's and the with applied to Terry Pratchett...)
Guy Gavriel Kay - Lions of Al-Rassan (my favourite), Sarantine Mosaic, Fionavar Tapestry
Neal Stephenson - Snow Crash (also my favourite)
Gordon Dickson - Dorsai series (some more than others)
Tolkien - I only read parts of LOTR now... read it too many times. And let me say again I hate what they did to Lorien in the movie. The most beautiful place turned into some eerie place...
Salvatore - Drizzt series... my total vice would have to be the Dark Elf series and the Icewind Dale trilogy... shhhh
George RR Martin - Game of Thrones... don't know if I will read this again... interesting but...

I refuse to put Robert Jordan on this list as of book 6/7... I really enjoyed the series up until then, but until he decides to make it more readable... and a bit less muddled... It just isn't enjoyable anymore. The story lost its pacing, and flow. Not a good thing to do to the reader in my opinion; maybe when it is all finished it won't be so bad, because it will be in context, but until then...

I can't really think of any others right now.
But I'm always looking for more.
Any suggestions welcome!

[[Munin- sneaks in and bolds the title.]]
[[you're lucky I almost renamed it "Grumpy's favorite reads" ;) [teasing smile]]]
