"Frothy, Fast and Funny" Hugin

"Frothy, Fast and Funny"
Hugin picked up Snow White and the Seven Samurai by Tom Holt which I promptly snatched out of his hands and have begun to read. The book is quiet a hoot and any author that can combine, Snow White, the Wicked Queen, the 3 Little Pigs, the Big Bad Wolf, Dumpy, Tom Thumb and Rumplestilskin with 7 quaint Samurais, three meddling kids and a network system [Mirrors 3.1] that has gone on the fritz has got my attention. Especially when they make it fun and entertaining. I am now hooked on Tom Holt's books.
I seem to do that often, I will read a book by a particular author and if I like the way they write, or appreciate their style of writing etc. I will go on a book-reading rampage and will try to get my grubby little paws on anything they have written. This has worked well for most authors, though occasionally things will go awry and I will find myself in a rut stubbornly attempting to finish a book that I just do not enjoy. Next up on the hit list of Tom Holts books are Valhalla and Only Human. Hopefully these books will live up to the standard of amusement I have come to appreciate in Snow White and the Seven Samurai.
