Though the Canadians skated what was said to be a flawless routine they walked away with the silver to Russia's stumbling Gold. We actually haven't managed to see any of the footage yet, we missed it! Aigh. Still hoping to see the reruns, but have had no such luck yet. The one thing I have seen is how the Canadian skaters have dealt with this blow, and in my eyes they have acted with great dignity. They haven't reduced themselves to name calling, to catty bitterness or to tantrum throwing. This in itself makes me proud to be Canadian and have our country represented by such fine athletes. I don't know what the inquiry will bring. I hope it brings them the gold, but if it doesn't they are still champions in my eyes.
