It's the middle of January and I am finally posting this. [I must admit there are times when I do tend to procrastinate a little too much] I didn't make any new years resolutions this year, though there seems to be a list of goals, and challenges that I would like to accomplish. Travelling to someplace unknown, getting back to hiking and climbing, creating something artistic, finishing off at least one of the two degrees that I have started. Enjoying those simple precious moments in life by not worrying so much about the 'what ifs', and as someone else put it 'living as only we can and somewhere in 2002 surprising ourselves'
Does that fall under the definition of a resolution, I am not quiet sure, as they are not things that I am striving to accomplish at all costs nor are they things that I am trying to weed out of my personality, bad habits etc. Maybe that is the definition of setting resolution, is to set goals and challenges that you want to accomplish. Hmm? Perhaps a look at the trusty dictionary will solve this dilemma.
According to the Miriam-Webster Online dictionary the word resolution is defined as follows:
3 a : something that is resolved (made a resolution to mend my ways)
Not quiet what I am looking for, so I will keep this as a list of goals and challenges that I want to accomplish with a wonderful adventure thrown in occasionally to keep life interesting.
