So have decided that it about time that I join the new millennium and learn C++. My previous programming experience has been with the trusty if dated Fortran. Having gotten that notion in mind I have purchased SAMS "Teach Yourself C++ in 21 Days". I am not sure if this is the most effective way of learning a new programming language, but it should hopefully be good enough for starters. Will then have to figure out a way to become fluent in C++.
