Been on a biography and “chic” book kick the past few weeks. As much as I enjoy reading sci-fi/fantasy, and the occasional “war book” it’s good to be able to pick up a paperback that is different from my regular pile of reads.
Am currently enjoying “She’s Not There A Life in Two Genders.” a poignant, well-written look at the life of Jenny [James] Finney Boylan.
Previously devoured in the “girly section”
The Devil Wears Prada
Confessions of a Shopaholic
The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants.
So does anyone have any biographies/”chic” reads they could suggest?

Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood? About A Boy? I don't seem to have much else on the shelf these days to come up with anything.
I was reading Jane Goodall's biography, put it down and haven't picked it up yet. She's fascinating though :).
This isn't really chic lit, but The Story of Lucy Gault was pretty good. Sad, and yet somehow not sad.
