Fathers.

You taught us how to ride bikes. You tended scrapes knees when we fell. You were there when we needed a hug, a word of advice and provided a ear to listen to our qualms. You kept the monsters away and our fears at bay. You are a best friend, when you don't embarrass us and our greatest advocate. You have provided advice, and have been the calm voice of reason. Thank you for all you have given us. Thank you for the love, the laughter and for not wearing your socks pulled all the way up to your knees, or wearing sandals with black socks. But most of all thank you for being you. All our love goes out to those we have been fortunate enough to call dad.
