Just call Miss oblivious

My boss passed by me desk, looked at me perplexedly and inquired if I truly enjoyed working with my screen at full brightness. I hadn’t noticed that when they moved my computer the brightness had changed, nor did I notice how washed out the colours were. All I can say in my defence is…umm… that…erm… sadly nothing valid comes to mind. Even the, ‘I was top caught up in my work to notice’ seems a feeble and sad excuse. However, I can honestly say is that changing the brightness sure does make a huge difference on the eyes. Now if y’all be so kind, I am going to go and hide in my little bright corner.
