Housecleaning.

A mad little cleaning fairy zoomed through the site and removed all the musty old entries from 2001-2002.

When pressed as to why she thought this was a necessary endeavour she replied, in a tone that stated that she couldn't quite believe that someone would even question her motives, that she just couldn't help herself. That she was possessed by a mad cleaning frenzy. And barring that, she thought it might reduce the load up time.
