Retentively geeky.

Hugin claims that he never knew how organized anal retentive, I could be. I figured that based on the fact that we have been good friends for what seems like ages he would have stumbled on this quirk a long while back. But, no, he is still constantly amused at my need to organize gems, charms, potions and runes in neat little rows while playing Diablo thus prolonging the game as I shout, grumble and whinge for more time to get everything sorted just right.* This coming from the man who sat down on our kitchen floor, grocery bill in one hand, PDA in other calculating the percentage of each of our shares, including the cat.**

*Yes this little quirk transfer to other areas of our life. Books, music and DVDs lined up in specific rows. Lists. Lists of almost anything you could possibly imagine that would need to be listed, and a few list of things that really shouldn’t be listed at all.

** The cat accounts for 19%, Hugin account for 30% and I, well I account for the rest.

Calculating percentages of consumption, et al?
What would you expect from someone whose sister is an economist?
BTW - didn't know you had a pda.

Yup, lucky PDA.

You see, it's like this.
Company got a product from MS which they were handing out PDAs as a thank you.
Person who was using said product and who was the name on the box in which the PDA shipped was fired a little while ago.
So the box came to me.
Opened it up with approval of the head of IT and went, `cool.'
Found out it was a gift thing and after making sure IT head didn't want it asked after the PDA through the person who was my boss. Offering to bid/buy etc on it.

He came down, looked at it, asked if it was color, said, `cool' and said it was mine. `Sold to the lowest bidder.' What can I say? He's a cool guy.

And so it is that I have a Viewsonic V37.

Cool.
I use it to read books, write notes, keep track of phone numbers, appointments, etc.
It's nice and handy. But I don't think I'd pay $300+ for it.
