thhppt! *pouting* it just didn't seem right. a 2x8. couldn't visualize it hence it dos not exits. *sticks tongue out*

2x10 is better foe joisting, or even 2x12 if you cen afford the difference. Most carpenters use 2x10 now, I think. 2x8 isn't quite stronmg enough for a lot of purposes. Roof rafters in some areas, perhaps.

yeah, some things just don't improve with time; still just a work in progress
