Posted by: munin on Junio 7, 2003 10:56 AM2x10 is better foe joisting, or even 2x12 if you cen afford the difference. Most carpenters use 2x10 now, I think. 2x8 isn't quite stronmg enough for a lot of purposes. Roof rafters in some areas, perhaps.
