Warming Up

I remember thinking it wasn't that important.
Being able to just dive into heavy physical activity, get a litle winded and 5 minutes later to just dive right in again.

No longer.

Just moved some furniture, heavy stuff, I'm talking a couple hundred pounds and more. And right now the muscle under my left shoulder blade (deltoid) is killing me. Can't move it too much without it being on fire. I'm pretty much holding on to my right shoulder with my left hand and that's sort of ok.

OW.

Two advil and trying to slowly stretch it... probably not a good idea, but... well... don't want it too stay seized up.

Ow.

Must remember, limber up.

Don't remember that.
Couldn't have been related to this kind of thing :) You must have meant something else that requires stretching etc.

However, I can see how you would have been right. Because, ouch.

Wonderful though how the human body works. Amazing the little things you don't expect to require certain muscle groups, such as bending over, or just pushing something a little.

"Wow, what an odd noise that came out of me..."
"Geez, who would think how much that would hurt?"

And my favourite:

"That, was dumb."

Stretch them out by interlocking your fingers in front of you and push out your arms straight with your back, hold for a few seconds. Take pain-killers/ Tiger balm and other analgesic of the sort, and call me in the morning.
