racing for gems.

Hugin and I ran away for the weekend, albeit it was very far. We stayed in to avoid the downpour, curled up on the couch, played Diablo II, watched Eco Challenge, which a dear friend was kind enough to tape for us, and then when the sun came out snuck out for fresh air. All in all it was a rather relaxing stare of affairs, except for the dreams. The dreams, well they were exhausting. I woke up this morning feeling worn, beaten and battered. One should never dream of adventure racing when they sleep. And, one should particularly not dream of adventurer racing combined with some mad scamper for gems, runes and gold, as one attempts to fend of strange monsters and race up the mountain, pedal down white water or rappel off a cliff. Tonight I am opting for something a little tamer, we are going to curl up and watch alias, followed by something bland and uninspiring. I don’t think I physically handle another night of running about like a madwomen, slaying demons and searching frantically for gems. Precious gems. [drool]

My only question is where is the mouse button when you sleep?

i hope you'll catch something calmer after alias- it looks to be another exciting one! guess what? i'm actually going to watch it tonight instead of taping it so we can chat about it in the am! see you then :)

BTW, I hope I did not cause you undue concern with my inconsiderateness, re: your gift of spring -- it occurred to my sleepy head, when I was already in the homeward-bound vehicle, that I in my torpor had forgotten the rules of gift-giving & receiving -- I ought to have opened it in front of you & properly thanked you for a very well-thought-out & touching prezzie.

In my sleep deprived state, it thus made sense to *not* open it *yet* until the next time we met; and, yet, it *also* made sense to spend half the drive home trying to read, hampered by drowsiness & dim light, the printing on the cannister through the sheer fabric. :)

It is a perfect gift; you didn't at all need to, but I'm very glad you did. Thank-you very much!

Well, Alias once again ups the ante with strange, bizarre and worrisome plot hints.

They don't really hint at anything other than whatever it is keeps getting bigger.

Sodium... hmm.
