‘One more hour please’ she mumbles as she ducks head under pillow, burying herself deeper under blankets.
I have never been good losing what I perceive to be that extra hour of sleep. Every year we bounce ahead into spring, [Spring ha! There‘s still snow on the ground.] by resetting our clocks to the appointed hour, and every year I wake up feeling slighted and cheated by this yearly event. Every year I grumble and whine to anyone willing to listen about my embitterment at having to technically rise an hour earlier and that my body, used to waking up at a different hour, just can’t cope with the new schedule. [wry smile] This year seems to be no different.
Oh well, the good news is that the sun is finally shining, the coffee is warm, and hopefully in a few days there will be no more snow on the ground.

Posted by: guruvious on Abril 6, 2003 06:17 PMI just use it as an excuse to stay in bed/inert until about 3 in the afternoon or so. Treat the whole day as a holiday!
