Nachos, sour cream, salsa and cheese heated up at 350oF, served on a platter. Lemonade poured in a tall glass, gray light dances through it throwing rainbows onto the floor. A little hint of spiciness warms the tip of my tongue. Savory aromas fill my nostrils; memories of temperate summer days chase the cold form my bones. Going to go and sit on the sill and pretend it’s a terrace, gaze outside at the people, sip at my drink, and nibble at the sunshine in my plate.
That little posting made me so happy! You're so good at conveying the sensory stuff...

Posted by: laurie on Abril 5, 2003 10:42 AMok, but switch "lemonade" with "beer" (Corona does go with salsa), & it would feel like being on the beach in mexico, toes in the sand. if you concentrated hard enough, that is. or if you drink enough Coronas.
