Day one: Disjointed

Today is the first day of my six-day weekend. I am not at all sure what I should be doing with this ‘time off’. Sleeping in sounds good, though this morning I woke up at the ‘usual’ time. Why? Well, it’s the laundry you see. It was the laundry’s fault. We have no clothes left to wear, and I am not going to prance about in the cold sporting only me socks! So in went two loads at the crack of morning. Birds are really quite annoying at that time. They have this need to chirp. It’s really quite irritating if you haven’t had coffee and yer ‘ead feels like it is stuffed with cotton. Not sure what I should do with the rest of the day. I have as per my usual, glutton for punishment self, brought work home with me. Maybe I’ll get some of that done later on this morning, after another cup of coffee. Maybe I should also think about mopping the floor and dusting the shelves. Maybe I’ll just pass the day staring at this screen. Maybe…
