"We believe if we laugh heartily at least once or twice a day, we will live long."
Found the above quote in the following article. I believe it to be sound advice, especially in this day and age when fear, uncertainty and stress are daily companions. We need more laughter in our lives, we need to learn how to smile again and look at things in a light that is not tinged with anger or trepidation. Joviality, mirth and delight should be are daily companions. So continuing on that vein of thought, what are the things that make you laugh? What are the things the make you smile, pull at the corners of your mouth and leave you with that warm giggly feeling?
For me it’s the sound of children laughing, watching Hugin make funny faces at me, the sound of his voice, the girlish giggle of my best friend, the sun dancing amongst the shadows and the smile of a stranger as we cross paths.

If you think politicians have become a dull lot, then head on to the Indian state of Meghalaya where candidates in Wednesday's elections there include Frankenstein… - BBC

Posted by: bobby g. on Marzo 1, 2003 01:43 AMI never fail to laugh when Jason giggles about something. His childish giggle is so rare, so when he finally lets go, it's infectuous.
Other than that: anything by Eddie Izzard; believe it or not, the new Jack in the Box commercials, as well; and when my mom tries to tell me a joke and inevitably screws up the punchline. I'm sure there are more, but these are the big ones. *G*
