the little things
Long dreary day of cold snow, frigid weather and a training manual that just doesn’t seem to want to get written. The highlight of my day came as I trudged up the stairs to find these waiting for me; they were given with a prompt reminder, that they are not Valentine’s Day flowers. [warm smile] Thank you my heart they are wonderful!
Now if you'll excuse me, I am going to pour myself a large mug of hot cocoa and baileys, drag the man I love over to the couch, snuggle with him, watch a bit of CSI and fall asleep all snug and warm in his arms.

So I suppose it is a pathetic avoidance getting flowers the day before. But it is a balm for my anti-commercialism.
