The day has been wasted on the installation and uninstallation of required software. The programmers, being the over worked people that I know they are, have left the coding of the uninstillation portion to what my colleague and I can only assume was a newbie. Not only does the uninstall not remove all the components of the software but it decidedly leaves the oracle database running unchecked in the background. There is no indication that the database is still plugging away, there are no notifications to alert you to that fact that the database should be uninstalled by hand. i.e: click on folder, right click, select delete. No it just plods along its merry way taking up precious memory. The only time you realize that something is amiss is when you try re-installing the software and land up with a wackload of error messages, none of which are at all helpful in discerning what the F*ck is going on! I am now going to scream very loudly! Fneh!
