we must, we must increase our bust

I don't know why but this article brings to mind the scene from Grease, the one in which Marty is standing in front of the mirror doing her chest exercises. I remember being a kid and wondering if that is what it took to be frontally well endowed. Musing if that is how my mom got her Dolly Parton status and speculating if when I'd grow up, I would find myself standing on front of a mirror, working out, arms held up in the air squeezing chest muscles while chanting. 'We must, we must, we must increase our bust.'

Then puberty hit and I became a timid mousy person who was quite content to be as flat as possible so she could better hide behind large baggy sweaters.[wry smile] I wonder if these boobie exercises would do me any good now?

I should state, for the record, that I agree with the idea. I much rather see women exercising their way to healthier, fitter, more endowed bodies [if that is what they wish] then go the painful route of surgery.

I agree, exercise is much better than surgery. I always think of the Judy Blume book where the girls do the exercises and the "we must, we must..." chant.

Was that in Sally J. Freedman?

I kinda like my boobs as they are. Though, honestly, I COULD work out and make them a little more.....uh....supported.

Tudy, It hard to get 18 year-old out and about. They are just plain stubborn [I know this from my own teenage years]

Goddess *g* we can all use a little support ;o>

Nikki I completely agree with you!
I swore that the only time I would contemplate going under the knife is if, god forbid, I ever needed reconstructive surgery. I hope that day will never come.
