Longs hours spent sitting upright in an unfriendly environment, shivering, attempting to concentrate, sentences swimming before me. Hot cups of coffee pass through lips unnoticed, offering glimpses of warmth. The cold has taken its toll; my body aches and is unhappy. My eyes droop, wanting to be lulled into sleep, hibernation from the mornings chill. The bed offers itself, a place of comfort and warmth. The pillow calls, a soft whispering lullaby in my ears. Dreams pull me down into their embrace, a tight spiral of blackness and images.

Posted by: kaydee on Enero 21, 2003 04:29 AMOne good thing about the cold is that it makes staying in bed extra long that much more enjoyable. Still sucks to get *out* of bed though...
Posted by: Amber on Enero 21, 2003 11:45 AMWell, we picked up a little fan/heater by Black and Decker. It's nice, doesn't put out way too much heat, but keeps it steady. It is, however, a little on the noisy side. This, combined with the option to have it turn on and off to maintain a certain temperature, makes for a somewhat jarring sleep at night... but when it is -37 to -40 outside with the wind, you can only complain so much!
