I should really, really, refrain from pointing out grammatical errors that my boss has made when writing up manuals. It just not bode well to walk into his office and point out that he should limit his use of ‘ etc…’ especially when he stares back blankly and goes ‘what’. Must learn to not do that, and must also remember not to continuously contradict him.
It could have been worse......he could have used ECT.
I once proofed an entire manual that was given to every hospital employee, red penned all the errors, and handed it back to the head of the department who wrote it. I told her that I'd be happy to do it before she published it the next time.
