Yesterday was spent in PJs, snuggled up under blankets on the couch reading/watching movies or perched on our computer chairs.
Hugin and I have gotten sucked back into Diablo II. They have released this wonderful new mod that introduces new bigger badder villains, allows you to level up like a fiend, and has tons new gear that just waiting to be acquired by some greedy sorceress [Hugin]. It has been quite a while since we have played together, I had gotten really tired of seeing the same old maps and had lost interest a couple of months ago. I was hoping that they would come out with a Diablo III soon, but until they do the new mod looks like it can provide hours of silly, monster bashing fun. Must resist the temptation to keep playing!
Resolutions.
I am not very good at keeping New Years Resolutions. The will to make them is always there but the will to keep them wanes quite quickly. It usually takes about a two weeks and my New Years Resolutions has flown out, read been chucked out with great oomph, the window. So this year instead of the usual: I will try and keep things tidy, procrastinate less, try and keep in touch with people [I am horrible at writing letters, so horrible that my sisters have all but giving up on me], work out and ever other manner real time promise I make myself, I am going to try something a little different.
This year instead of resolving the former, I am going to resolve to live and enjoy life more, to appreciate all the wonderful moments because they are indeed precious, to not always shy away from people or adventure and the big one for me, to learn to love myself a little bit more, for I am not very good at that, and maybe, just maybe, I’ll surprise myself along the way.
